Montel’s producers began a search for a product that could handle this assignment. What they found, and used, was the iRespond-Lite remotes manufactured by Wireless eSystems, Inc. of Milton.

The entire audience for Montel’s "Voice Your Choice" show was filled with first time voters who used the iRespond-Lite remotes to chime in with their opinions and hold a mock election.

"We are thrilled that Montel selected us out of all the companies that manufacture student response systems," said Bill Thompson, president of Wireless eSystems. "We felt great when, at the end of the show, Montel thanked his iRespond "friends" and said he would use iRespond on future shows.

"Our product is primarily used in classrooms and training situations to assess what students know in real time," he said. "However, as Montel’s audience proved, iRespond performs just as well when you want to know people’s opinions."

Wireless eSystems manufactures four assessment products for student/audience responses. These include the iRespond-UltraLite, the iRespond-Lite, and the iRespond-Touch remotes and iRespond AnyPlace, which is Web-based.
